Land invasions amid lockdown

The City of Cape Town is adamant that it did not evict anyone

in Khayelitsha in Cape Town over the weekend.

Residents however, came face-to-face with law enforcement officers,

who came to demolish shacks that were allegedly illegally built by residents.

Malusi Booi, the mayco member for Human Settlements says the City is dealing with land invasion.
