Makhanda protests over lack of water

Residents of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape have been without water for weeks. Shops in the area are sold out of bottled water and now there are protests in the streets,

against the local municipality. The founder of the disaster relief agency, the Gift of the Givers, Dr Imtiaaz Sooliman joined us on Friday to discuss the desperate situation.

He says they are making progress with providing emergency relieve.
