Research shows domestic worker abuse is rife

South African domestic workers are often subjected to abuse, sexual harrasment and rape in the workplace, according to research conducted for Izwi Domestic Workers Alliance and the Hlanganisa Institute for Development in Southern Africa. To discuss this further, we spoke to Amy Tekie, who is a director at Izwi Domestic Workers’ Alliance.
