SADTU: Schools delayed by two weeks

Teachers union, SADTU, has welcomed the decision,to delay the reopening of schools.

The decision was communicated to the education sector, last night. The Education Department is expected to brief the media on Friday.

Sadtu’s general secretary, Mugwena Maluleke, who joined us via Skype, says they have been pushing for the delay for some time.
