SA's first black woman freediving instructor

Freediving instructor and conservationist Zandile Ndhlovu is South Africa’s first black woman freediver.

She's breaking down all kinds of stereotypes and is encouraging other future mermaids to join her.

Through her Black Mermaid Foundation she's helping young black people to embrace the water and overcome their fears of diving.

She spoke to us about this exciting project earlier.
