Schools reopen for grade 7 and 12 pupils across the country

Majority of schools reopened on Monday for grade 7 and 12 pupils.

This comes after schools were supposed to open a week ago.

Some institutions are, however, still closed as they have not received

proper personal protective equipment, while others do not have proper water and sanitation facilities.

We spoke to Nomusa Cembi, national spokesperson for the South African Democratic Teachers Union.
