Still no trace of kidnapped Cape Town baby
The lawyer representing an 18 year-old woman, accused kidnapping a baby in Cape Town, says there's no proof she committed the crime. Karabo Tau’s lawyers say CCTV footage exist, which will prove that she was at school on the day of the abduction. A second suspect has also been arrested. Its suspected that Tau posed as a social worker, to gain the mother’s trust before she allegedly fled with a twin boy, two weeks ago. A teacher’s note corroborating her whereabouts, has been submitted into evidence. Several Kuyasa residents however say the accused also approached them, posing as a social worker. But her lawyers say they have the wrong person.
