W Cape nears COVID-19 third wave peak

The Western Cape is bracing for its third wave peak in the next 7 to 10 days

but the provincial health department is already under severe pressure.

Over 34 thousand active COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the province.

Ten percent of these require critical care in hospital.
