Western Cape passes second wave peak

Western Cape Premier Alan Winde is pushing for a partial easing in lockdown restrictions for the province.

The province is currently seeing a decrease in COVID-19 hospitalisations and daily infections.

Winde has however warned that while we wait for a vaccine a third wave of infections is possible.
