Woman accused of witchcraft set alight in Soweto

An Associate Professor of Psychology from Unisa says a lot of work still needs to be done around the awareness of mental health in

South Africa. Puleng Segalo’s comments follow the brutal beating of mentally ill 59-year old Jostina Sangweni, in Mapetla, Soweto.

She was accused of witchcraft and set alight. Segalo described the incident as both horrifying and shocking.
