Verdeelde Liefde is based on a true story adapted from the novel Girl behind the Glass. The main character Zeynep is a beautiful young girl who was born into a poor home but raised by a wealthy family. When she turned 7 years old, her father gave custody of his daughter to a wealthy family in return for money. Zeynep’s biological mother Sakine is part of the painful decision and accepts the offer so that her lovely daughter can have the chance to attend a good school and have a decent life.

As a result of her special situation, Zeynep feels completely torn apart. She receives first class education, hangs out with rich friends, and lives in a big mansion. But the truth behind her perfect life lies hidden.

Can Zeynep balance both sides?
