Tjoppie wakes from a good night only to be struck by a blinding headache — and this time, he resists taking painkillers. But Veronique is satisfied as his addiction starts taking hold. Soon enough, Tjoppie caves and begins feeding the habit she so carefully enabled.

The family is thrown off balance when Junior returns to Soebatskloof unannounced, revealing he and Allison are on a break. His arrival stirs the pot even further when he begins asking pointed questions about CJ. Veronique, trying to keep control, warns Elroy to keep CJ off the farm.

CJ, however, makes a move of his own — telling Junior that he knows Junior is his father. Marco starts noticing Tjoppie’s increasingly erratic behaviour and shares his concerns with Junior.
