Right after the 9/11 attacks, the world changed and the first American soldiers were sent into Afghanistan to strike back. 12 Strong tells the true story of a small Special Forces team, led by Captain Mitch Nelson (played by Chris Hemsworth), chosen to go behind enemy lines where no one else dared to go.
Their mission? Help local Afghan fighters take down the Taliban and stop a dangerous terrorist group. But the soldiers aren’t just up against enemy guns they face freezing mountains, harsh terrain, and the pressure of being outnumbered and outgunned. With little more than courage, strategy, and trust, they ride horses into battle and risk everything to protect each other and complete their task.
