Count Dracula runs a grand hotel in Transylvania, a safe haven for monsters where vampires, werewolves, mummies, and more come to relax without humans around. His beloved daughter, Mavis, turns 118 (middle teenage years in vampire time), and he plans a big party to celebrate.
Just as the guests arrive, an unexpected human hiker named Jonathan stumbles in. Dracula tries everything to hide from Jonathan, disguising himself and creating fake stories to prevent Mavis from discovering the truth. But Mavis and Jonathan quickly hit it off. Love blossoms… and rules begin to bend.
What follows is a warm and funny tale about accepting one another, stepping beyond fears, and seeing past appearances. Dracula learns to trust his daughter and even humans, just as Mavis learns to follow her heart. Together, they show that family means more than just roots.
