Tjoppie spirals out of control after buying fentanyl from a dealer. In a haze of hallucinations, he mistakes Veronique for an intruder and knocks her out as she climbs through a window. Marco quickly pieces everything together, frees Veronique, and urges her to get help before it's too late.

As the prestigious wine awards unfold, Debbie-Lee notices something is wrong with Tjoppie. She confides in Shireen, who sets off to find him—unaware of the chaos about to erupt. Allistair and his thugs storm the venue, holding everyone hostage.

In a moment of shocking bravery, Tjoppie—still high and disoriented—stumbles into the restaurant just as Allistair aims a gun at CJ. He throws himself in front of the bullet, taking a shot to the abdomen.
