Isitha: The Enemy A Year Of Dramatic Highs

Isitha: The Enemy kicked off the year on a dramatic high. Amahle received a generous sum of money that was mistakenly deposited into her account. Instead of doing the right thing and reporting it to the dean, she splurged—treating her friends to a shopping spree and an all-expenses-paid trip to Durban. #IBlewIt 

Love was in the air for Martha and DJ Finzo, but as the saying goes, a DJ will always be a DJ. Their romance ended in heartbreak for Martha. Meanwhile, newlyweds Chuma and Nolitha began their journey toward starting a family. Sadly, Chuma’s infertility created emotional tension and uncertainty in their marriage. 

Rebecca took her villainy to shocking new levels when she switched babies at birth, causing her own son to mourn a child who is, in fact, still alive. At the same time, Esihlahleni suffered a major loss with the murder of Bandze at the hands of Langa—the man to whom Bandze owed money. 

The show also introduced powerful new characters, including The General, Kinati, and Trevor Gumbi, each bringing fresh layers of drama and suspense to the storyline. 

On a lighter note, this year featured culturally rich and heartwarming stories, such as the Reed Dance and the charming old-school romance between Bra Jafta and Nomsa. 

As the year draws to a close, the stakes climb even higher. Chuma convinces Phara Boy to join his operation transporting stolen platinum. Zandile sets her sights on the throne and plots against her husband, Mbuso. Her plan succeeds, leading to a grand coronation in eSwatini. The year ends on another high as Velaphi discovers boxing and fights his way to a championship.
