The Dlaminis are excited when Mandla surprises the family with a Christmas trip to Cape Town. However, Philile’s intense fear of flying quickly becomes the main issue as they prepare for their first holiday together. She becomes overly dramatic when saying goodbye to Martha, convinced it might be her last moment. During the flight, Philile has a panic attack, forcing the family to return home. Meanwhile, Kayise and Fanyana keep things simple by ordering takeaways and enjoying a relaxed Christmas lunch.
