Cheese In The Trap

Season 1 of Cheese in the Trap is set at a university and follows Hong Seol, a hard-working student who juggles lectures, group projects, and part-time jobs. After returning to campus from a year's break, she becomes uneasy around Yoo Jung, a senior who seems perfect on the surface. Jung is rich, polite, and popular, but Seol feels that something about him isn't as kind as it looks. 

Seol's everyday life is full of small pressures: tight money, heavy coursework, and classmates who take advantage of her effort. When Jung suddenly starts acting friendly, she is unsure whether to trust him. Their relationship slowly shifts from tension to a careful closeness, but Seol continues to question his true nature. The drama shows their awkward dates, quiet conversations on campus, and moments when his hidden side emerges. 

Around them is a lively group of students. Baek In-ho, a talented but hot-headed pianist, crosses paths with Seol and brings more change into her life. His sister, Baek In-ha, is dramatic and demanding, often clashing with both Jung and Seol. Seol's friends Bo-ra and Eun-taek add warmth and humor as they deal with their own studies, crushes, and plans for the future. 

Across the season, Seol tries to protect her own peace while dealing with group assignments, copycat classmates, and people who test her patience. The story moves at a steady pace through campus, cafés, and family scenes, giving a close look at student life, complicated friendships, and a romance that never feels simple.
