Scandal!: From Groove to Tears

One reckless night sets off a chain of events that could destroy Ntuthuko forever this Friday.

Shattered after discovering that his own father kidnapped his mother, Ntuthuko heads to Levels in search of escape, a place where the music is loud enough to drown out the pain. Joined by Botsotso, Poet and Ockert, he gives in to the groove, the drinks, and the illusion of relief.

That’s when he meets Mpumi.

Beautiful, captivating and dealing with her own relationship troubles, Mpumi, played by Nolwazi Mfeka, immediately catches Ntuthuko’s eye. There’s chemistry. There’s temptation. And as the night unfolds, boundaries begin to blur.

The party moves to a second location at the Level Up Apartments, where Mdala and Hlogi join the chaos. Kgalelo’s presence adds another layer of flirtation and tension. When Ockert introduces drugs into the mix, the night spirals further out of control. One by one, they all indulge, including Ntuthuko and Mpumi.

It’s reckless. It’s wild. It’s a night no one plans to forget.

But morning brings a nightmare.

The group wakes up groggy and hungover, only to discover that Mpumi is unresponsive. The fun of the night before turns into sheer panic as they realise Mpumi is dead.

What exactly happened after she took the drugs?
Was it an overdose, or is there more to the story?

With police alerted and fear setting in, accusations begin to simmer. Botsotso contemplates running before the investigation closes in. Loyalties are tested as everyone fears prison. And Ntuthuko, already caught in his family’s scandal, now finds himself at the centre of a deadly mystery that could end his future before it even begins.

The boys are arrested, and with investigations pending, their futures hang in the balance. Fear of prison looms large. Trust fractures. Every version of the story is scrutinised.
