Life was perfect for Garfield. The schedule was simple: sleep, eat lasagna, mock Jon, and repeat. But the peace of the Arbuckle household was shattered when Jon brought home a permanent houseguest—a slobbering, tail-wagging distraction named Odie.
Just as Garfield was settling into a life of competitive napping and avoiding the new dog’s tongue, disaster struck: Odie was dognapped.
The Unlikely Hero
While most cats would see a missing dog as a "free room" upgrade, Garfield realized that life without his favorite punching bag was surprisingly... quiet. Too quiet. Faced with a choice between the remote and the rescue, the world’s most famous tabby chose the latter (mostly because Jon was too distraught to cook dinner).
The Mission
Garfield traded his favorite blanket for a detective’s grit. Navigating the treacherous world outside the living room, he braved:
- Unfamiliar neighborhoods.
- The absence of scheduled snacks.
- Actual physical exercise.
