Johannesburg, 16 October 2025 – e.tv’s flagship drama series, Scandal!, proudly marks an extraordinary milestone — the broadcast of its 5 000th episode on Sunday, 27 October 2025. This landmark moment celebrates over two decades of compelling storytelling, unforgettable characters, and cultural impact under the campaign theme “Champions of Storytelling.”

Since its debut in 2005, Scandal! has become one of South Africa’s most beloved television dramas, captivating millions of viewers with gripping storylines that mirror the nation’s pulse. The series has been a launchpad for some of the country’s most respected acting talents and continues to evolve with the times — tackling themes of power, love, betrayal, redemption, and the pursuit of truth.
