TikTok star Bhuti Omdala joins the cast of Isitha - The Enemy as Kinati
Johannesburg, 19 August 2025 – e.tv's popular telenovela, Isitha: The Enemy, is set to become even more intriguing with the addition of TikTok star Bhuti Omdala to the cast. He will portray the character Kinati, who is expected to introduce significant challenges and complications into Thenjiwe's life.
Known for his larger-than-life personality and massive online following, Bhuti Omdala brings his unique charisma to one of South Africa’s most-watched dramas. His character Kinati is a 36-year-old con artist who cleverly poses as a 9-year-old boy using his stature as a little person. With a dual personality, one as a shrewd hustler who loves smoking and drinking, and the other as a naïve, respectful child, Kinati thrives on deception. He targets unsuspecting victims like Thenjiwe and the Sokhulu family, charming them out of their belongings. His motto, “If you’ve got it, use it to make money”, captures his amusing yet relentless pursuit of financial gain.

Episode synopsis:
Nomsa manages to clear Nolitha's name but chooses not to forgive her, convinced that Nolitha and Chuma are meant for each other, especially after Chuma's involvement in Jobe's death. Meanwhile, Thenjiwe forms a bond with Kinati, a homeless boy, and invites him to lunch, showing her compassionate side. Martha makes a bold return with a striking makeover, while Rebs sets out to uncover secrets about Kamavovo and Langa. Tensions rise as Velaphi declines an invitation to Martha's party at Rebs' house, caught up in the turmoil surrounding Nolitha.
