Agatha Comes to Town

Since its launch, Durban Gen has been dealing with various real-life experiences, such as infidelity, medical traumas and general life challenges.

Starting today, the show dives into the subject of mothers and the lengths they go to intervene in their son’s love lives.

Themed Agatha Comes to Town, and coming straight to your screens, viewers will witness Sibusiso and  Dr. Thabo’s mother Mbali’s mother in law coming all the way to Durban, whip in hand, to sort her sons matters out.

Our lead girl, Mbali, has been caught with her hands in the “cookie jar,” cheating on her fiancé Sibusiso with Dr. Lindelani, one of the senior doctors at her workplace.

Sibusiso catches Mbali and Lindelani kissing, a fight breaks out, which ends up with shots fired at Lindelani by Sibusiso. His actions land him in prison, and that is the reason for Agatha’s arrival, to intervene.

In the midst of all this, her other son, Dr Thabo, is suffering from erectile dysfunction that comes with unpleasant underlying results. It turns out that Thabo is infertile and unable to bear Agatha any grandchildren. This does not sit well with her.

Closer to home, in tonight’s episode, Dr. Thabo treats a patient who’s also been suffering from erectile dysfunction. He used muti and imbiza to try and remedy the situation, and unfortunately, ends up dying of a heart attack.  This obviously hits home Thabo.

Is it right for Agatha to come fix her sons problems, and why do mothers do this?
