APB comes to e.tv

The violent murder of his friend pushes genius tech billionaire Gideon Reeves (Justin Kirk) into taking over Chicago Police 13th District. By equipping the 13th District with advanced tech in solving crimes, Reeves aims to catch his friend's killer. He takes as his partner the newly promoted Detective Theresa Murphy (Natalie Martinez).

Not everyone wants Reeves to succeed, however, and these include Chicago mayor Michael Salgado (Nestor Serrano) and Scott Murphy (Daniel MacPherson), Theresa's ex-husband and the man Mayor Salgado tasks to stop Reeves. "APB" also stars Caitlin Stasey as Reeves Industries CTO Ada Hamilton, Taylor Handley as Officer Nicholas Brandt, Tamberla Perry as Officer Tasha Goss, and Ernie Hudson as 13th District's Captain Ned Conrad.

Episode 1
After witnessing the murder of Elliot Sully, his CFO and friend, genius billionaire Gideon Reeves of Reeves Industries makes a proposal and deal with the mayor to get the troubled Chicago Police 13th District and upgrades it with his company's latest technology, notably by creating the APB app that allows citizens to immediately alert the police to a crime, bulletproof cars and improved weaponry. With the aid of patrol cop Officer Theresa Murphy, Reeves also sets out to bring justice to his friend.
