Behind the perfect portrait lies a family at war

What begins with a father's death ends with a family portrait in pieces, as grief, jealousy and betrayal tear the Dlomo siblings apart.

The Dlomo family is about to face one of its darkest chapters yet as grief, betrayal, and long-buried tensions explode following the death of family patriarch Bhekinkosi Dlomo.

The emotional rollercoaster begins in Paris when Busani Dlomo receives the devastating news from Bobbi Dlomo that her father has passed away. The moment leaves Busani shattered. Overwhelmed by grief, she breaks down in tears as the reality of losing her father sinks in.

Back at the Dlomo Mansion, emotions are running high as the siblings immediately clash over funeral arrangements. Bobbi and Banzi find themselves at odds over where their father should be laid to rest, turning a moment that should unite the family into yet another battlefield. The heated debate comes to an abrupt end when Busani arrives and firmly declares that their father will be buried at the church, bringing a temporary resolution to the conflict.

But peace is short-lived.

The funeral descends into chaos when Uncle Pappi, furious that he has been denied the right to bury his brother, causes a scene in front of mourners. As he delivers an emotional speech, the unexpected arrival of the police sends shockwaves through the funeral, leaving guests stunned and raising even more questions about the Dlomo family's troubled history.

If the funeral wasn't dramatic enough, the real bombshell comes afterwards during the reading of the will.

Expecting to inherit a significant portion of her father's wealth, Busani confidently takes her seat, believing her future is secure. Instead, she watches in disbelief as Bobbi is named the heir to Dlomo Motors, the family's prized business empire. The revelation leaves the rest of the siblings furious and deeply resentful, besides Balungile.

For Busani, the disappointment proves too much to bear.

Consumed by rage and humiliation, she grabs an axe and smashes a television before hurling it towards a cherished family portrait, symbolically shattering the image of the perfect Dlomo family.

With family loyalties tested, old wounds reopened and a fortune at stake, the Dlomos are heading for an all-out war that could change their lives forever.

Will the family survive the fallout, or is this the beginning of the end for the Dlomo legacy?
