Drug addiction is defined as a chronic, relapsing disorder characterized by compulsive drug seeking and continued use despite harmful consequences, and long-lasting changes in the brain.

This behaviour is considered both a complex brain disorder and a mental illness. And, we see all of this clearly displayed in one of our girls, Boniswa.

Addiction can be a gruesome period for anyone and everyone affected by an addict.

However, our story is a little different as this addiction is caused by Nka, whom Boniswa loves dearly.

Nka is the baby daddy of Boniswa’s son, Boy Boy and all he wants is a ticket to the good life, through Boniswa’s shares at the Factory. He’s been drugging her this whole time without her knowing. His reason- so he can “save” her, again.

You know what they say, once an addict, always an addict. But this one is quite different and truly tragic.
