The Black Door │ Weeknights at 9.30PM

It began as a tale of two brothers, Khaya & Chuma, with a dream. When one dies, the other has to bear the cross and sins of his older brother, including attending to the intimate needs of his deceased brother’s wife – and giving her a child!

The only thing Nolitha wants is to give birth to a Sokhulu. And she will do everything it takes, including persuading Khaya, her dead husband’s younger brother, to have sex with her.

How far would you go to keep the one you love alive?

At 9.30PM you must expect moments of disturbing reality. This is where the lives of ordinary South Africans from the dusty streets and the lavish elite of Mpumalanga collide.

What happens in the dark, will be revealed in the light in a story known by many, but only lived by a daring few.

Join us every night for an experience, because the night belongs to us.

It’s been sometime now that Nolitha has been begging Khaya to have sex with her, and she still keeps the secret of her miscarriage when she lost Chuma’s baby.

Sad as this is, she is reluctant for Khaya to have sex with her and they will both keep it a secret and lie, claiming it is Chuma’s baby.

Khaya’s life is slowly getting on track, especially his relationship with Mam Rebs and love is blooming with him and Nandi. But now he learns that Chuma, the Mfundisi, his big brother, the only man he ever looked up to his entire life – worked at The Black Door.

Now, if you can remember, Chuma, only showed us the life of a committed and holy deacon, a loving son, husband and big brother, who also worked at the Factory.

This news upsets Khaya and decisions have to be made.

The deed is done, will Nolitha have the baby she desires? #TheBlackDoor
