The Goldbergs

The Goldbergs is a nostalgic comedy series about kids growing up in a dysfunctional family in the 1980s.

In the series premiere, we meet the zany family, there’s Murray who’s a gruff but lovable business owner but also very hot-tempered. Then we’ve got mum Beverly who's overprotective and trying desperately to keep her kids from growing up teenagers Erica and Barry.

The youngest of the clan, Adam, is an aspiring filmmaker who regularly documents his family's crazy antics on his video camera and tries to direct the action.

Rounding out the family is Murray's father, Albert "Pops" Solomon, who provides a sympathetic ear to the kids as they endure growing pains.

The sitcom is loosely based on series creator Adam F. Goldberg's real childhood.
