Funani Zwide is South Africa’s biggest fashion icon. 

Beneath the debonair, affluent fashion designer’s exterior lies the spirit of an old school hustler from KwaMashu.

Funani grew up in the roughest of environments where he even had to fire the occasional gun to make it out. And this combination of design talent mixed with grit and street smarts led to him building the House of Zwide.

One of his most endearing qualities is that of a good father, but will he ever reunite with his daughter?
