Mbuso’s reign of terror intensifies as Nolitha is held captive and brutally tortured, his madness spiralling further out of control. As Zandile and Xola grow closer, Xola risks everything to help the prisoners, smuggling in a phone that restores a fragile sense of hope. Mbuso demands an antidote for his insanity, threatening Nolitha’s life, while Zandile takes the blame for drawing attention and faces a cruel, potentially fatal punishment. Tiga, haunted by guilt, finally turns against Mbuso in a desperate bid to save Zandile as Vacu reveals that Bab’ Tsabedze holds the cure. Mbuso seeks the seer’s help, instructed to return at the stroke of midnight, unaware that rebellion is brewing behind his back. With Nolwati orchestrating an escape and Zandile forced back into captivity, tensions reach breaking point. In a shocking act of self-defence, Chuma, Zandile, Vacu, and Tiga unite against Mbuso, bringing his violent rule to a brutal end.
