With Octavia’s arrival, Hermien goes into a panic about what she might want on the farm. After Edmund and Annette’s first kiss they are overwhelmed with guilt and shame but cannot deny the intense passion that still lingers between them. Annette is torn between her loyalty to her husband, Du Toit, and her undeniable attraction to Edmund. 

Meanwhile, Nenna and Hermien are caught amid the battle for the farm. As the past secrets slowly surface, threatening to destroy everything they hold dear, they must decide whether to confront the truth or continue to bury their secrets in the hopes of protecting themselves. But will their secrets ultimately tear them apart?
