Kuiertyd: Celebrating a Big Year of Change, Hits & New Beginnings!

This year, 2025 was a landmark year for Kuiertyd, one that opened with a major goodbye. We officially concluded eExtra’s biggest and longest-running show, Elif, closing the curtain on a beloved 5-year journey that shaped the heart of our channel. But with that ending came space for exciting new beginnings, and we introduced Gelukbringers, which quickly rose as one of our high-performing shows, alongside the ever-popular Blink Kant Bo.

This year also saw the return of iconic classics. Vierspel Vuurspel and Impak sparked our late-night action block with nostalgia and high-energy drama, while the much-loved Dokter Ali returned to open the Kuiertyd block, bringing warmth and familiarity back into viewers’ homes. These additions strengthened our line up and reminded audiences why these stories remain timeless.

From new hits to legendary favourites, 2025 showcased growth, excitement, and powerful storytelling across the Kuiertyd slate. It was a year of change, fresh starts, and standout performances and our viewers were with us every step of the way.
