Masterchef Season 12

This is a competition-based series where amateur cooks progress through by successfully creating dishes that show off their technical skill and understanding of flavour.

The show kicks off with the celebrities cooking a feast for 120 staff and volunteers, in specially constructed marquee kitchens.

Split into two teams, it's a race against the clock as the cooks must design and create four mouthwatering dishes each, a meat, fish, vegetarian dish, and dessert.

This is from a selection of ingredients including chicken, pork loin, smoked haddock and lemon sole, and other foods.
