Scandal! Does Fame Kill Love?

This Week on Scandal! Mdala’s ruthless side comes to the surface as his plan unfolds and Tiro ends up in a serious accident. But the fallout isn’t over. Tlhogi bravely confides in Taps, revealing that Mdala was behind the crash. She pleads with him to stop his friend before things spiral further out of control. When Mdala heads to the hospital with the intention of finishing what the “accident” started, Taps steps in and warns Tiro, sparking Mdala’s fury. Taps defends his actions, insisting he did it for Mdala’s family, not betrayal. 

Meanwhile, the unexpected connection between MaDlomo and Mthunzi deepens. After sleeping together, they both struggle to resist their growing feelings and call on MaThubela for a prayer session. However, Nhloso becomes visibly uncomfortable when he witnesses Mthunzi and Ntuthuko’s closeness, stirring up old wounds. 

Poet finds himself caught in a whirlwind as his career takes off. After committing to perform at Thoriso’s fundraiser, he realizes he’s double booked and is forced to attend a high-profile launch instead. Thoriso is left disappointed, but the true heartbreak comes when she packs up and leaves, unable to watch herself slip further down his list of priorities. Poet returns home to find her gone. In a bittersweet gesture, he gifts Kedi and MaThubela in her absence, marking a new chapter as Mamsie’s name is mentioned in a mysterious call Botsotso receives.
