Zwelethu's injury leaves a blood trail discovered by a worried Petunia. Thandiswa fears Phakathi's relentless investigation. Jaxon criticizes Phakathi for the lack of progress. Kayise clarifies her kiss with Fanyana as a mistake, confessing her past sabotage of his relationship due to jealousy. Mamiki's dedication gives Leroy hope, despite a shaky start to her live nail-fitting session. Petunia's attempts to hide the bloodied sheets are thwarted by Martha. Mamiki overcomes her insecurities with a successful nail design, supported by Leroy. Fanyana and Kayise succumb to their feelings. Jaxon's attempt to gain information about Mpendulo's escape from a convict is unsuccessful. Following the blood trail, Jaxon publicly accuses Zwelethu of aiding Mpendulo's escape.

 Kayise and Fanyana are relieved their parents only know about the contraceptives, not their relationship. A drunken Mamiki and Sipho fall asleep while guarding the salon, leading to a robbery. The pressure mounts on Zwelethu as Jaxon directs Phakathi's investigation towards him, with Phakathi ordering Zwelethu to remain in town. Philile confronts Martha about Kayise's birth control. Sipho and Mamiki deal with the aftermath of the robbery and the glued hands, only for Martha to demand her money from Sipho. Phakathi's investigation against Zwelethu stalls, but Jaxon continues to exert pressure. Philile and Martha find common ground, while Martha threatens Sipho over his debt.
