Smoke & Mirrors: Suicide or Setup?

Zwelethu tells Thandiswa he has business to handle, then confronts the man responsible for extending his prison sentence, forcing the truth out before helping him commit suicide. He and Thandiswa bond over their shared trauma at the hands of Jaxon. Meanwhile, Jaxon spirals into paranoia when Kabelo's death, ruled a suicide, doesn't sit right with him. He insists there's foul play, but Phakathi isn’t convinced—until he uncovers that Kabelo was heavily intoxicated and suspects something is off about the suicide note. As tensions rise, Thandiswa unexpectedly shows up at Zwelethu’s door, seeking comfort in his arms, while Jaxon grows increasingly unstable and fearful for his safety.
