Unfortunately for him, he’s been trying to be one for so long, he might actually succeed. Most of the time, his bark is far greater than his bite. He’s what people refer to when they say empty cans make the most noise- a big mouth, with not enough muscle to back it up. 

His mother was killed by a stray bullet when he was 9 years old and his relationship with his late father never recovered. When his father was still around, his dad would preach the gospel of a good day’s work- not the fast and easy life of an entertainer. 

He finds understanding and support in his other wannabe-gangster “friends”. He is a whiz with languages, which is a pain, because gangsters hate having their grammar corrected. 

He’s an aspiring rapper and he probably has enough talent to make it, but he doesn’t have the belief to pursue it. He hides his aspirations from his friends because they would make fun of him. It really is just his new girlfriend Crystal who understands and supports his dream. 

She gets him and he gets her. But she would never approve of him selling drugs for this gang he’s gotten involved with. He could try to explain that it’s only until he has enough to fund his music video, but she wouldn’t understand. He really believes in Crystal and supports her in everything and encourages her to follow her dream.
