Bittersoet

Set in Istanbul, Bittersoet follows two young people from separate worlds who fall in love unexpectedly. Kemal is one of three children from a middle-class family. In his senior year as an engineering student, Kemal’s only aim is to complete his studies, until Nihan turns his life upside down. She falls in love with Kemal and finds herself torn between him and her affluent overprotective family. Forced apart by the demands of Kemal’s future career and Nihan’s scorned lover, Emir, they soon discover that many secrets will continue to complicate their love affair.
