Charl Marais Sr. is the successful, respected & beloved owner of the Soebatskloof wine estate. He is the loving husband of Hermien & the father to Charl Jr., Tjoppie & Annette. He gets on well with the farm workers but shares a special bond with Edmund – his star winemaker. Charl’s main concern is ensuring that the farm & its people are safe & happy.
