About
Season 1 of FBI follows a team of special agents working out of the New York field office. Their job is to handle major cases that threaten lives and public safety. The team is led in the field by Maggie Bell, an intense and focused agent who is driven by a sense of duty, and Omar “OA” Zidan, a former undercover agent who brings calm thinking and quick action to the partnership.
Each episode begins with an incident somewhere in or around the city. It might be an explosion, a shooting, a kidnapping, or a missing person. The agents arrive on scene, secure the area, and start looking for evidence. Back at the office, analysts and support staff search databases, follow phone records, and match faces on camera. The work moves between the streets, the lab, and the briefing room as the team tries to find answers before time runs out.
Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine runs the operations room, coordinating information and directing field agents. Dana Mosier and, later, Isobel Castille provide firm leadership and make final decisions when difficult choices are needed. The agents deal with suspects from many walks of life, which keeps the cases varied and the investigations wide.
Across Season 1, viewers see how the team learns to trust one another under pressure. Small details, like a mark on a wall, a message on a phone, or a face in a crowd, often become the key to solving the case. The series maintains a steady pace, guiding viewers from the initial shock of each crime to the final arrest or resolution at the end of each episode.
