He’s chatted to them about farm manager, Brendin Horner’s (22) murder.

Earlier this month, Horner’s body was found tied to a pole with a rope around his neck.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the murder.

Graeme Raubenheimer is in the Free State and spoke to some of the concerned farmers.

The South African government says it’s concerned about an alleged attack on a key nuclear site in Iran. Iran says it’s ramping up uranium enrichment at the Natanz plant following Sunday’s explosion. Thousands of nuclear refinery machines were damaged or destroyed.
Iran’s blaming Israel for the alleged attack, which Israel hasn’t formally responded to yet.

The Health Minister has raised concerns about an increase in COVID-19 cases in the Western Cape. The province has recorded more than 121 000 cases.

The latest report from Ombudsman for Banking Services has revealed that more than 7 700 formal cases were opened by consumers against their banks last year. Out of the five banks, FNB had the most complaints with 2 197 cases opened against it.
This is an increase of 49 percent when compared to 2019. ABSA is the only bank that saw a decline in the number of grievances. The ombudsman also says it has recovered and refunded R16 million to consumers over the past year. SA Banking Ombud Reana Steyn says these complaints were driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, debt stress and fraud.

A one of a kind vaccine freezer, that can store vials at ultra-low temperatures,
was launched in Johannesburg on Monday. The prototype storage container,
has been developed by Renergen, a South African natural gas company.
The container has been designed, to keep COVID-19 vaccines ultra-cold for up to 30 days,
and can store up to 6000 doses.
