We bond in an eye blink with the people who remind us of our past and we fall in love with them-nobody else. Life has a funny way to make us find that person.” Zeynep is born as the daughter of a very poor couple, Sakine and Bayram.

She has never been a baby who’s brought joy to her parents; on the contrary she soon started to become a burden for them. Her alcoholic father Bayram is working on construction sites and her mother Sakine is a cleaning lady who goes to wealthy family houses. When Zeynep hits the schooling age, her father says they don’t have enough money for her education.

Then one day a miracle happens: Sakine’s boss Nermin tells her that she can help for Zeynep’s education. Nermin is a successful businesswoman married to Ekrem, and they can’t have children.

Even though Sakine’s heart breaks to give up on her child, she decides it’s best for her and hands Zeynep to her guardian parents. Zeynep soon adjusts to her new life and as she grows up, she receives a top-quality education.
