A recent spate of attacks on members of the LGBTQI community, has raised serious questions about what's being done to prevent this.
Iranti, an LGBTQI advocacy group is demanding a society that values the lives of all people as they believe it is a constitutional right.
The Programme Officer for Iranti, Sibusiso Kheswa, joined us on Friday and says these attacks seem to a be a growing trend.
He adds that policies and systems should be implemented to ensure LGBTQI communities are protected.

On Monday evening, President Cyril Ramaphosa delivered some welcome news to the country.

With the daily COVID-19 numbers having steadily declined over the last month,
several lockdown level 3 regulations have now been relaxed.
