Acceptance

1. I agree and undertake that I shall be bound by and comply with the terms and conditions for entry to the TROLLS BAND TOGETHER Movie competition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition”).

2. If I fail to comply with the terms and conditions of entry, then my entry shall not be eligible and be disqualified from the Competition. Whether there has been a failure to comply with these terms and conditions shall be decided in e.tv’s sole discretion, and shall be final and binding upon any potential entrant.

3. The Promoter of the Competition is e.tv and any of its duly authorised representatives.

4. It is a condition that the potential entrant must reside in South Africa, and be over the age of 18 and be able to provide proof of this in the form of an Identity Document.

5. e.tv shall be entitled at its sole discretion to declare that any entry is not to be entered for the Competition and is disqualified. In such event e.tv shall not be obliged to the person who has entered of their disqualification nor shall it be obliged to provide a reason for its decision nor shall it be liable for any damages in law.

6. e.tv may at any time decide to change, cancel, amend, vary, delete, add to, and/or otherwise alter the terms and conditions of entry, the prizes and/or any other part of the Competition. e.tv shall not be required to send a separate notification to each person who has and/or may enter the Competition. It shall be suffice details shall be sufficient totally to the prize winners.

7. Terms and Conditions of Entry

8. Any person who is an employee of any of the following companies: e.tv Investments/ and/or any other agent, promoter and/or other person connected with the Competition and/or a member of their family shall not be allowed to enter the Competition and shall be ineligible to participate. If any such person should enter then they will be automatically disqualified.

9. e.tv shall be entitled at its sole discretion to declare that any entry is not to be entered for the Competition and in such event e.tv shall not be obliged to the person who has entered for their disqualification nor shall it be obliged to provide a reason for its decision.

10. All decisions of e.tv shall be final and e.tv shall not enter into any correspondence, dialogue and/or otherwise with any person regarding any aspect of the Competition.
11. All entries must be original, and not abusive, defamatory, offensive, derogatory, degrading and/or otherwise not acceptable due to the nature of the material submitted.

12. e.tv may at its sole discretion decide that any entry is not eligible due to the nature of the content of the entry and may disqualify a person from the Competition and any such future events.

13. If there are unfair/automatic entry practises used in e.tv’s discretion then e.tv reserves the right to disqualify such entries.

14. All decisions of e.tv shall be final and binding and e shall not enter into any correspondence, dialogue and/or otherwise with any person regarding any aspect of the Competition.

15. Prize(s) and Duration of Competition
    1. The prize(s) shall consist of:
    2. 4 movie tickets to a cinema to see TROLLS BAND TOGETHER (with the applicable cinemas being Nu Metro, Canal Walk (CT), Clearwater Mall (JHB), Cornubia (DBN) & Menlyn Mall (PTA).
    3. The screenings will take place on Sunday 22nd October at 12.30PM
    4. The Competition starts on 13 of October 2023 at 00:00 (one minute after 11.59pm on 12 October 2023) and ends at 20 October 2023 at 00:00. 
    5. There are a total of 160 tickets to be won for each of the aforementioned cinemas

16. To enter: 
    1. Visit the e.TV website & enter the competition from the landing page by completing the required fields (eg, name, surname, contact details) and thereafter answer a question relating to TROLLS BAND TOGETHER.
    2. Winners will be decided in e.tv’s sole discretion.

17. There is no cost to enter the competition.

18. The same individual may not win multiple prizes.

19. By participating in the Competition, you are confirming your acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.

20. All entries must be completed within the competition start and end date.

21. No responsibility can be accepted by e.tv for any entries which are incomplete, are delayed beyond the Competition Period, fail to arrive, are illegible, do not arrive and/or for any other reason are not received by the deadline.

22. No responsibility can be accepted by e.tv for the cost and/or charges incurred in respect of any entries.

24. No responsibility can be accepted by e.tv for the cost and/or charges incurred in respect of any entries.

25. The prize can only be awarded and/or taken by the person whose name is provided at the time of prize confirmation of the Competition. There is no alternate prize or cash available as an alternative to any prize should the prize winner not want the awarded prize, nor is e.tv obliged to exchange and/or transfer any prize to another person.

26. Selection of Winners

27. e.tv will verify all eligible entries. The winning entries will be selected by e.tv and winners will be announced on a daily basis on e.tv social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) starting from 18 Ocober 2023 to 21 Ocober 2023 for all winners. Winners will also be contacted via email. If no reply from the winner is received within 48 hours via email, e.tv reserves the right to award the prizes to a new entrant.

28. The winner will be contacted on social media directly via direct messages and will be asked to provide contact details, including full name, email address and contact number. If the winner declines the prize or cannot be contacted within 48 hours or is disqualified for any reason, e.tv shall select a new winner as applicable.

31. Terms and Conditions of Entry and Prizes

32. e.tv reserves the right at its sole discretion to withdraw and/or substitute any prize at any time for any reason. e.tv may replace and/or substitute any prize with any products, goods, services and/or cash which it decides is appropriate in the circumstances.

33. e.tv may at any time decide to change, cancel, amend, vary, delete, add to, and/or otherwise alter the terms and conditions of entry, the prizes and/or any other part of the Competition. e.tv shall not be required to send a separate notification to each person who has and/or may enter the Competition. It shall be sufficient that details shall be available on the social media platforms and telephonically.

34. e.tv shall be entitled at its sole discretion to declare that any entry is not to be entered for the Competition. In such event e.tv shall not be obliged to the person who has entered of their disqualification, nor shall it be obliged to provide a reason for its decision nor shall it be liable for any damages in law.

36. Personal Information

37. All entrants hereby consent to be processing their personal information for the purpose of this Competition. The personal details information which have been submitted for the Competition will be held by e.tv. This information will only be shared with third parties involved with the Competition for the administration of the Competition and/or the supply and delivery of the prizes. The personal details will only be held for 24 months (2 years) from date of competition entry and will then be destroyed and/or deleted. Should an entrant wish to have their personal information amended or deleted they should contact e.tv.

38. Force Majeure and Law

Where for any reason beyond the reasonable control of e the Competition cannot be carried out and/or completed as planned and/or advertised, then e.tv reserves the right to cancel the competition at any time and in such event shall not be liable to any person for any reason who may have entered the Competition.

40.  The terms and conditions of this Competition shall be subject to the Laws of The Republic of South Africa.

41. Publicity

42. Winners shall potentially have their names and prizes published on e.tv Investments/e.tv, e digital platforms. All entrants agree to the following publicity and marketing: [Online/social media platforms/ on air platforms]. All entrants agree to share their names and/or photographs through the following publicity and marketing: e.tv and its affiliated companies online/social media platforms/ on air platforms. The entrant acknowledges that your entry and/or video or post may be shared by e.tv on social media. The sharing of a video online does not signify that a participant has won the competition.
