President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared a special official funeral for King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu. The 72-year-old royal died in a Durban hospital in the early hours of Friday morning. National flags will be flown at half-mast from Saturday.
Meanwhile, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, has paid tribute to the late king. She says the king contributed a lot to the country and its people. She adds that his long life of service needs to be celebrated in a dignified manner.
