Political Party Funding Act to take effect article Political analyst, Xolani Dube, has questioned the effectiveness of the Political Party Funding Act which was finally signed into law on Friday. The new law comes into effect from 1 April and will compel all political parties to disclose who their donors are. Dube who joined us on Friday also questioned whether the act will help eliminate the political agendas of dubious funders.
Political Party Funding Act signed into law article My Vote Counts has welcomed news, that the Political Party Funding Act has finally been signed into law. The organisation has long been fighting for the act to come into effect and it will now be effective from 1 April 2021.
