The dismissal of a popular radio DJ in Cape Town has sparked outrage in the city.
Much-loved Heart FM presenter, Clarence Ford, spent 24 years at the station
before he was summarily let go this week. The radio veteran has spoken
out about a toxic work culture and poor management at the station.
Other former employees, particularly women say this also relates to a cover up
of a history of sexual harassment complaints against a radio station boss.
