The Executive Director of the National Teachers Organisation of South Africa
says its heartwarming that so many teachers have decided to get vaccinated.
The vaccine rollout for teachers got under way across most parts of the country today.
Basil Manuel says they experienced a glitch in Bloemfontein where too many teachers were called in at one time.
And a vaccine centre in Mpumalanga experienced connection problems which caused a small delay.
The union is however still concerned about those that don’t want to get the jab.
