This documentary features never-before-seen intimate footage of the Manson 'family' members that has been hidden for decades and provides deeply chilling insights into the workings of this ultimately deadly cult. 

For two years after the conviction of Charles Manson and the cult members responsible for the murder of seven people, including the eight-month-pregnant actress Sharon Tate, in a brutally violent killing spree, young filmmaker Robert Hendrickson filmed the cult members who remained free. 

The 1973 documentary he made was banned, and the footage he produced has remained unseen, until now. This shocking, unbelievable documentary gives us an unprecedented glimpse into the horrifying context of this seminal Hollywood story.

Mango ‘mayday’

Financially troubled airline Mango has confirmed it’s filing for business rescue.
Mango staff are said to have been working for free for two months now and it’s not clear if the 700 employees will be paid anytime soon. Mango’s reportedly waiting for a much-needed cash injection from the government. SAA says consultations with unions are under way. We spoke to Numsa’s national spokesperson Phakamile Hlubi-Majola and Zazi Nsibanyoni-Anyiam from the South African Cabin Crew Association to find out more about what this means for Mango Airlines staff.

Mangaung residents take to the streets

Tensions are running high in Bloemfontein with protesting residents vowing to continue their shutdown of the city, for the rest of the week. Protesters are blocking streets and burning tyres, over a lack of service delivery and unkept promises to lower the unemployment rate. Residents are demanding the removal of city manager, Tankiso Mea.
They also want the Mangaung Metro Council to be disbanded. The embattled Metro was placed under administration in 2019.
Sekhopi Malebo from the, Free State ANC anti-corruption lobby group, says it supports
the community grievances as they feel the municipality has been ruined.
