The eighth season of the American competitive reality television series MasterChef. Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi returned as judges. Aarón Sanchez joined the cast this season as the third judge.

MasterChef Australia is Back To Win, and the highly anticipated show is returning not only for its incredible 12th season, but with a trio of new acclaimed judges at the helm.

This year on MasterChef, is a season of redemption.  

In MasterChef Back to Win, some of the most talented and memorable cooks in the competition's history return to the MasterChef kitchen for a second chance, to prove they are worthy of the title, the trophy, and a quarter of a million dollars. Old rivalries are re-ignited, old friends are reunited and even some MasterChef Juniors are making a comeback to prove their merit as adults.

But to get a white apron, first, these all-star cooks must go head to head to prove they are worthy of a spot in the top 20.  In easily the most competitive season yet - and with the standards higher than they’ve ever been - judges Gordon Ramsay, Aaron Sanchez and Joe Bastianich have some difficult decisions to make.

This season, award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez, and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich take the series to new heights and across the pond to London for the first time in MASTERCHEF history. 

The home cooks will face a series of challenges including cooking for a 10th-anniversary pool party, catering a former MASTERCHEF winner's wedding reception, and feeding ravenous NASCAR drivers at the Irwindale Speedway. 

Additionally, and for the first time ever, the series will take over dinner service at Gordon's flagship London restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. 

Tough competition, surprise guests and many challenges are in store with one home cook ultimately claiming the title of MASTERCHEF and the $250,000 grand prize.
